No. You should offer breastmilk or formula.

First milk, if they don’t tolerate milk then it’s okay short term but I’d be contacting your doctor ASAP. 
We were given permission to run it through my daughters feeding tube for 12 hours before we were able to be seen, but that was under doctors guidance. So it is safe for a 5 month old, but I certainly wouldn’t be doing it without doctors knowledge.

That’s if they aren’t really feeding. When do you have to use it it’s half and half, half water and half that and then how ever much formula you would normally use.

First, I would call the doctor. Fevers are a sign of infection. The doctor sees my son when he has a fever over 100.4 and/or other symptoms. 
Second, breastmilk or formula is what they should have. 
Third, if babe is dehydrated (Soft Spot has sunk in, throwing up, diarrhea, lack of pee, & lack of eating), my doctor said pedialyte can be given. But it’s such a small amount & that was because his food intake had decreased & he was getting dehydrated.

I would say only pedialyte if they are having diarrhea. Definitely just keep offering breastmilk or formula.
