4 week old fighting sleep! HELP!

My 4 week old has been fighting his naps and his bedtime around 7pm every night! He shows that he’s tired and I’ll feed him if he gets really angry but he just screams and cries while I try to rock him to sleep...every night for the last week he’s been doing this. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I let him stay up? He fights it for so long then I worry he’s overtired. If he does fall asleep in my arms the second I put him down he wakes up and then starts to fuss again. I don’t know what to do I’m out of options.
