Help potty training 😞

Hi guys I been trying to potty train my 2 1/2 year old for a month or longer and he just won’t follow thru he keeps doing good one day then the next day or week he’s back to using it on himself. I give him rewards when he does go to the bathroom. Please help me what do I do ?
