Baby poop/bleeding

My 11 month old has had corn many times. It’s always been fine, but this time when he pooped, a bunch of corn came out, and it made him bleed. It hurt him so bad when I was wiping him clean (gently of course). 😔 Is there anything I can do besides put Vaseline on him?

Needless to say, I’m traumatized from corn and he won’t have it again for a very long time.
