Please be honest😅

Okay so my daughter is 4 and has pretty long hair and loves to have it braided to curl it and she loves the way her hair looks with all kinds of little braids, so I was thinking about having someone do her hair in cornrows and see if she likes it. My only concern is the fact that we are both white and I don’t want to do this if it’s appropriating anybody’s culture. I’m really not trying to do that, I’m just trying to help my daughter feel beautiful while at the same time keeping her hair out of her face and out of her way. Would it be cultural appropriation or is it okay if I do her hair in cornrows?? I don’t wanna offend anybody😅

You can do her hair in any way you want to.

You can do her hair however she likes and will stand... but I have heard that corn rows are super tight and may cause discomfort. I would keep the braids more loose.
