My daughter is 8.5 months and any day now she will be crawling. She’s been scooting around everywhere and into everything she can get her hands on.

I need tips/recommendations on activities for her.. and any must have items that you loved (for her or me) as far as baby proofing the house, we’ve got the socket plugs. Is there anything else that I should be getting?

And we also have an older dog. That can be grumpy sometimes. So far there has been no issues with them. And he likes to come up and lick her cheek. I was thinking about maybe getting a baby gate. But we live in a small 2 bed/1bath house. So would it be pointless? Any tips/recommendations for this would be nice too
