Little man is finally here
So I was 40 weeks and 6 days. Having irregular cramps, and losing a lot of mucus(no one in my family has gone into active labor). So I went to the hospital, hoping to be induced since I was almost a week overdue.
So I get admitted and once they actually give me the medicine to induce me, I go from 2cm to 6cm in like an hour. But then his heartrate started dropping a lot. It was down in the 50's. And then they lost it completely. It was so scary. My blood pressure started getting low too. So they stopped giving me the medicine to induce contractions and everything started looking good again.
Now it's time for the epidural. Which was THE MOST PAINFUL PRESSURE I'VE EVER FELT IN MY LIFE. It literally made me scream out in pain. It took him like 10-15 minutes to actually get it in right. Not to mention him telling me to shut ul basically. So yet again, my blood pressure drops super low. Babies heartbeat drops very low. They had to give me a shot (dont know what it was) through the IV to bring my blood pressure back up.
So fast forward and I'm 9cm dilated and having so much pressure I was crying. The doctor comes in and tells me the vaginal septum I have (extra skin inside the vagina) makes it too much of a risk to have a vaginal birth!
So I get the numbing agent and cant feel anything. Which started making it so I couldn't breathe and had a restless feeling in my whole upper body. Finally, little gabriel parsons is born! But as they are closing me up, that restless feeling is so bad I'm crying. Again. I tried not to. When they were done they ended up giving me a pain medicine through the IV. Started with a D. And since I was finally sat up and I could feel my arms, I held my baby for the first time. Completely forgot about the pain and restless feeling until it was gone.
