I just need to vent so I can move on and not think about it/him until his next stunt. So my ex husband and I are in the process of a divorce, this year we filed our taxes married filling jointly under my account, direct deposited into my checking. We have been separated since last September. I had to FIGHT for an equal 50/50 split cause he said he deserved more than 60% of the taxes. Mind you at the time he wasn’t even paying 1/4 of what he should have been for child support. There was no legal or written agreement that I needed to give him any of it, but me being the adult and knowing it could come back to bite me in the ass, I gave him 50% of the return.

This man has NEVER paid anything towards his sons medical bills/expenses, let alone anything else. They have all came out of my pocket. He even had the nerve to try to go behind my back and change our sons medical insurance which would have prevented our son from being able to go to the children’s hospital for a surgery he needs. He’s even said that $35 for an inhaler for our 1.5 year old wasn’t urgent and he’d “get to it” after his vacation.... he never paid obviously.

NOW. in the past month he has stated that he’s going to pay less than half of what he’s supposed. Use our sons child support money to pay for his own bills(phone, car payment, insurance, etc) and give me what’s left over after he pays his own bills. So now I’m getting less than 1/10 of what he’s supposed to be paying. Mind you he’s racking in around 5-6k a month, in an area where it’s EXTREMELY inexpensive to live. And he is gauranteed a job, income, and housing, so I know for a fact he wasn’t laid off/fired or with out shelter.

This man had the AUDACITY to ask for half of our stimulus money. Meanwhile he won’t pay anything towards his sons wellbeing and is now thousands behind in child support. My lawyer said to not respond, which is what I’m doing and keeping the money in a savings account till a judge says otherwise in June when i go to court for full custody/support. Also my ex lives two states away and never asks about his son or for any pictures/to talk to him.
