Tired of 2 questions (vent)
I hear two questions a lot. I know I'm just sensitive to the topic and I know my friends care and they don't mean to offend but I never want to hear again:
(1) "They (doctors) still don't know what's wrong??!" I want to say, "Nope! Just a lady with a broken uterus here! Modern science just can't figure me out!". I feel like it's somehow saying I'm not doing enough to "cure" my infertility.
(2) "Why do you have to have your own baby?" Aka- "At least adoption would guarantee you a baby at the end." Yes, how dare I want to spend the time, money and energy on my own genetic children, something I've dreamed of having for years.
Sigh. Like I said, I know they care. I got hit with both of these questions today after a doctor's appointment and needed to vent.
Any questions anyone else is tired of getting???
