⚠️ trigger warning ⚠️ Did my friend fake a miscarriage??

Okay, this is going to be very long winded.. so bear with me.

My friend told me her last period was February 4th— she claims she tested positive on March 4th.

Her first appointment was around the end of March, and she should’ve been close to 7-8 weeks. They didn’t see a heartbeat, and told her to come back the next week. She went back on April 1st. Still didn’t see a heartbeat, but was told they saw a fetal pole that was measuring at 6w3d. By then she should’ve been 8 weeks— so she was measuring a week and a half behind. They told her to come back in 11 days... but she “forgot” when she was supposed to go back (HOW could you forget something like this, especially when it’s not that long of a wait in between??)

Well, the following Sunday— April 5th they announced to Facebook that they were pregnant. Everyone who knew the circumstances of everything were so confused... why would you announce a pregnancy during this time??

A week goes by, and on Easter she claims that she passed the sac. Had some bad cramping, bleeding and clots— but could see the sac. She says she called the ER and they told her it “probably” was a miscarriage, and that she should wait it out and call her Dr on Monday. She also “only” bled during the time that everything passed? So a few minutes. Not a few days or even weeks. ONE day.

On Monday, she calls her Dr. and her Dr. says she will call her back shortly. Hours went by and the Dr. hadn’t called her back? She says she can’t go to the ER because she can’t afford a hospital bill, and the hospital won’t allow her to show up without an appointment. Then at the end of the day she says she finally received a call back and her dr tells her to come in “when it’s convenient for her.” How would she be able to go when it’s convenient, if she isnt allowed to just show up? Her dr isn’t going to cancel someone else’s appointment just to see her when she’s ready. So that seemed off as well.

Today, she posted to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter that she went through a miscarriage.

Another thing that seemed weird to me, was that she was pinning detox teas, diet coffees and diet foods on Pinterest 2 weeks ago.. so before she even “miscarried” and we all know dieting and detox aren’t things that are safe during pregnancy.

Does this make sense to anyone? Does it seem realistic? Everyone who knows the details of this situation thinks it’s made up.
