Honey and Baby
So I feel like one of those bad moms that feels really crappy for asking this and no I'm not posting anonymously because this was an accident. So my one week old has been doing this thing where she shows signs of her still being hungry even tho I just fed her not even 10 minutes ago. So I couldn't find her Wubbanub so the first thing I stuck in her mouth was my finger. Well I noticed she made a face like she tasted something she didnt like. Well I had just finished eating 4 small honey and peanut butter uncrustables and my hubby drizzled honey over them because he toasted them for me (btw very good). Well when I took my finger out of her mouth I saw I had like smallest amount of honey on my finger. Now I am sitting here watching her every breath and having her wear her owlet sock because google has scared me shitless about the infant botulism that babys under one can get from having honey. So what are the chances of something seriously happening to my daughter if it was just a tiny amount. I have washed my hands after that and I found her Wubbanub so I'm not sticking any fingers in her mouth anymore...please dont judge me.
