When do you start buying stuff?

First Time Mom, and very early still. 5 weeks and 4 days. When can you officially start purchasing at least the basics?

Wherever you want. I started researching in my first trimester so I could budget for what we wanted/needed.  Our baby shower had to be canceled so I’m thankful that I gave myself the budget early

I’m waiting until we find out the gender, but even then we aren’t buying too too much because we are going to wait and see what all we get from the baby shower! 😊

I never bought til I was 34 weeks. Just basic needs. Diapers, wipes, clothes for first 3 months and pack n play cause I didn’t want a crib or changing table

We buy diapers and wipes every pay period to stock up. Then we found out the gender and started buying clothes and decor

Whenever you want. I’ve had two miscarriages prior to my current pregnancy so I have been more cautious. I’m 21 weeks and haven’t bought much. Instead I’ve kept a private Babylist registry with everything I plan on buying
