So I’ve had 2 endo surgeries back in ‘05 and ‘08, 4 kids since. 35 yrs old. Just got my periods back after finishing bf’ing #4 about 5 months ago. I’ve been spotting for the last 3 cycles, the last 2 with significant spotting, not like a flow, but enough to wear a pad. I always have bad ovulation pain and I had some pretty bad menstrual cramps to start this cycle. I went to GYN last month, pap came back normal. She ordered an ultrasound (haven’t went yet due to covid 19) but said that if it’s polyps or fibroids, which she doesn’t feel any from the physical exam, she would just prescribe BC, which I am not interested in taking. I feel like I’m down to thinking it’s either endo (due to my history of having it) or cancer ( due to my family history of different cancers, but none were gynecological) and I’m waiting till I fee comfortable to get the ultrasound. Just wanted to see what you guys think of this, if anyone has been in the same boat. I have never spotted in between periods till now.
