I’m 24. For years (at least as early as 8th grade) I’ve had the most horribly painful bowel movements during my period. The pains are super sharp and is honestly some of the worst pain I’ve felt in my life. I also have general constipation issues but I’m not sure if that’s related. My menstrual cramps can get pretty bad the first day or two of my period and I have to take a good bit of ibuprofen throughout the day to help with that. And lastly, sex can be painful in certain positions. There’s really only a couple angles I can handle during sex. I always thought I didn’t have it because my periods are regular and a normal length but after doing some research about my rectal pain I’m not so sure anymore. I’ve never been to the gynecologist because of lack of insurance. I have insurance now but obviously can’t go because of the pandemic. So since I can’t go to the doctor I came to ask all of you.
