Is 5-6dpo too early for implantation bleeding?

Had a small amount of spotting. Way early for period. Could it be something? Or maybe it’s just spotting and I’m reading into stuff that isn’t anything! We had to have ivf to have our 3 year old, unexplained infertility. We’re not trying but also not being careful.

I had a VERY small amount of spotting, wiped twice and didn’t need to anymore 
Turned out to be pregnant! I was only 6 dpo 
I finally got a positive two weeks after the spotting

I only had 1 tiny pen sized dot of light pink when wiping a week before af, I didnt think to much of it as I had given up on ttc after 6 years. The following week 2 days before af I had the worst cramps ever, I decided to use my last test instead of letting it go to waste. I got an instant bfp and it hit me what that tiny dot of light pink when I wiped was.
