Ok so my bf and I have been together for almost 3 years. Lately the topic of moving out together has been brought up. He wants me to move in with him and his family. His dad wants us to start our lives already and wants us to already have kids. I’m totally not ready for kids rn we are both 23 and I don’t want kids anytime soon. He lives with his dad and 2 sisters. His mom passed away about 2 years ago and since then they are struggling with paying medical bill, house bills, rent, etc. my bf is pretty much the bread winner rn at the time and pays for a big chunk of the finances. They all really rely on each other to get thru. So my problem is that I kinda don’t want to move in with his family. I always imagined myself moving out with him in our own apt. I don’t have anything against his family I love them but I just want us to have our own space. I want it to feel like my home not someone else’s. His dad also wants me to move in and told me that I don’t have to pay rent because my bf is “taken care” of me.(he kinda old fashion). If I was to move in I would definitely want to help with rent especially knowing there situation.

Another thing that bothers me is the future. I honestly don’t see my bf moving out anytime soon because like I said they all rely on each other. Which makes me worried for our future. I want us to have our own home. I work and I’m about to graduate university this year so I’m about to start my career pretty soon. But I want us to have the best future possible not having to worry about money.
