3 hour Glucose Test - Passed!

Yay I passed my 3 hour glucose test!!!

I took it at labcorp, and I did follow labcorps prep for it (they have 3 days, but I did 5). So basically I made sure to get enough carbs every day (averaged around 200 grams for the 5 days, throughout the day...yes I tracked EVERYTHING), and that they were healthier and paired with protein, walked everyday, didnt have "sweets", and made sure not to fast for too long (they have a 8-14 hour window, you shouldn't fast longer then 14 hrs when prepping for labcorps test).

So excited!!!!

Obviously there is no guess of anything. But you have a good shot of passing the 3 hr, of those who go on to take the 3 hr, only 2-10% of them get diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes.

Track your carbs to make sure you get enough, but eat protein with them (so basically track total carbs and protein for macronutrients for 3-7 days). Avoid things like cake/candy/ice cream. You want good complex carbs, try to eat them throughout the day. The night before make sure you have like a protein and carb snack (like pistachios, I also had a protein shake that was high protein and low carb). Make sure you keep your fast within 8-14 hours of your fasting blood draw. Do not fast for longer then that
