first time house renter???

i just have a question about whether we’ll get accepted. my boyfriend and i are expecting, i’m 6 weeks and 1 day today so we’re trying to look for a house to rent. we found one that’s in a good area for $1050 a month. he works full time construction & i work on-call at a hospital but i’m currently not working due to being pregnant and the virus. he makes about $700-1000 a week and right now i’m not making anything but i DO have a current position. we’ve never rented before so we’re just kinda skeptical about what could prevent us from getting it. they want a proof of income from both of us & right now i don’t have an income. how would that work? could we still get accepted? thank you!!!
