Can birth control prevent orgasms?

Has anyone on a combination pill ever experienced being unable to orgasm after starting the pill? I have tried what seems like everything i possibly can to make it happen and so far nothing. Starting to wonder if it could be a hormone imbalance caused by my pill.

Yep!! I struggle to orgasm on my mini pill and it decreases my sex drive massively.

Unfortunately birth control has estrogen in it where as testosterone provides sex drive. It makes sense why you would be feeling this way due to the increased estrogen! Maybe try a lower dose, definitely talk to your PCP about these symptoms and I’m sure they will help! Just stand up for how your feeling and stress you want to try something different. 💕
