First car delivery at my local hospital for 2020 😊
Let me start by saying my Ob and my Nurses at my gynecology office were awesome! Every visit they were super sweet and understanding and listened when I voiced several concerns of being pregnant for the rest of my life. 😂
February 2,2020: I am not feeling well, flu like symptoms and just feeling off not my usual self, my appointment during that same week I was able to do my first membrane sweep hoping it would work so when I Call my OB and she says come in and we will check you out, put you on monitors, internal examination, etc. After about 2 hours only 10% more effaced bringing up up to 70%+1CM ugh time to go home STILL PREGGO 😢, but she did a second sweep to hold me over till Tuesday which was my last scheduled appointment before our soon to be scheduled induction I was hoping not to have to it’s so terrible there’s nothing natural feeling about being induced 🤯
February 3,2020: woke up feeling great! Decided to clean our home top to bottom, Incase little man decides to make his debut (I had a feeling induction was going to be our only way I was so nervous about that).
I cleaned every room in our 2800 sq ft home, rearranging my 8 year olds room to surprise him after school 🤗,went out and picked my 2 teenagers up from band practice in the afternoon, watched them all play a round of basketball (horse) I cooked a great meal of sausage, cabbage and potatoes for my fiancé and children, baked brownies and cookies and my love finally arrived home from work at 10:30 (ugh I hate his late nights 3 days a week) myself and my love talked about our days and cuddled and watched some tv, I had som twinges of uncomfortable pain but figured I had done too much for the day. We headed to sleep around 12:45 ish February 4,2020.
February 4,2020: 1:23 am I woke up to what felt like uncomfortable gas or period cramps layed and breathed and was able to drift back to sleep. 2:26am woke up again only this time couldn’t go back to sleep, got out of bed and drank some water walked around, leaned over the counter while timing my contractions 7 minutes apart (I know 7 minutes 😳) I finally went to my love and woke him with tears saying it’s time to go, he jumped up and started moving. Called the OB she said to start heading down as I have 4 children so get here as quick as possible, hospitals 45 minutes away so we start to head ugh I’m so uncomfortable. 4:16 we’re on our way down the road their getting stronger and stronger oh god they hurt now. 4:54 am my water sac is coming out and by this time I have stripped down to my bra and now taking my pants down while my fiancé looks on and shouts wth are you doing no not in the car! Lol. He is freaking out but I have to I can’t control my body anymore it’s says it’s time, I reach down and break my water and give a push out is my babies head my love puts his hand down to hold the head while driving and on the phone w 911 they want a location um on the highway duh I put my hands under his and give a loud cry and a solid push and out comes our baby boy. I feel around omg the cords around his neck 3x I unwrapped it quickly and put him on my chest, HES NOT BREATHING OR MOVING!!!! I’m yelling at the dispatcher on the 911 call, I put my finger in his mouth to clear his airway and the swat his back I get a small wimper, I swat again and his hands fly outward and I hear the most beautiful sound Ever a small mousy cry starts to come out of him then he opens his eyes and just looks at me omg I will never love another man like I love my boys! 🥰 pull into the hospital and the rest is history... Giovanni was born on our local highway on February 4,202 at 5:00 am one of the best Tuesday mornings of my life!!!!
