What’s the chance of a 29 weeker having cerebral palsy?

Answer

It really depends on what happens. Just being a preemie doesn't necessarily put babies at risk for CP (from my understanding) but things that happen can, like a severe brain bleed.

No one can really tell you a “chance.”  Every birth experience is different so you’d have to discuss it in depth with your childs neonatologist or pediatrician.  I wouldn’t worry about it unless you have to.  There are a million what ifs when you have a preemie but it’s best just to be observant and only be concerned if you need to be.
