Meconium testing for marijuana??? When did you stop smoking?

Did you test positive? Please answer without judgement I’m freaking out a little here.  I smoked 3 times in my third trimester, all before 33 weeks, and all very small amounts. (Max 5 hits from a one hitter) I didn’t realize it could test positive in baby’s meconium that early.

I stopped smoking as soon as I found out as I pregnant 🤷🏼‍♀️ of course I miss it but my baby’s health is more important than getting high.

There are many women who have asked the same things and you get zero judgement from them on there. This app is full of nothing but judgmental ass women so this is definitely not the place to ask. Your baby won't be taken from you.. cps involvement maybe, but them actually taking the baby from you isn't going to happen unless your not complying with them, or doing more than just marijuana. Seriously though.. if you don't want the back lash definitely get off this app with that question. Too many women who think they're perfect on here.

I know some women say it’s harmless and their baby came out healthy. But I think you should always stick to the safe side. I was a heavy marijuana smoker for years before I found out I was pregnant, but I know it puts a huge risk on your baby health wise as well as legal wise, your baby could get taken away. I hope nothing bad happens to you, hope for the best! But if any other girl can read this, don’t do the same!

It's a very risky thing. I'm not at all against marijuana, but when you live in a place that is against you have to be careful. My sister in law has been smoking to help with her morning sickness (shes only about 11 weeks) and her doctor drug tests and she failed. They said if she fails again they'll have to take the baby when its born. I hope you dont have to go through that. Try your best to detox. Good luck.
