I had my bloody show the morning of my due date (December 31)  but unfortunately I didn’t go into labor until a few days later (January 3) and my son was born the following day. 
I had been in prelabor for about 3 days...I went to a post dates ultrasound where I was then informed I’d be induced that night, but ended up going into labor naturally, where my doctor discovered I was already 3 cm dilated which made TOTAL sense because I had been experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions a few days prior to my due date. 
Right before I delivered, I started throwing up. I had an epidural and delivered vaginally. Not sure if that really matters but I’d never heard of this happening but it must be pretty common because when the dr heard I was getting sick, she said it was delivery time & she wasn’t wrong. About 45 minutes later my son was born at 4:50 PM, Friday, January 4, 2019 🥰
