Pregnant during the pandemic. How are your appointments?

I’m so worried about this! I’m 3 weeks pregnant.

Luckily I’m still allowed to bring my SO. My OB has booked longer appointment times to compensate for people leaving prior to the next appointments starting. This way there’s less traffic in the office. They’re not having people waiting in the waiting room at all. Next week I’ll be 32 weeks when i see my OB again- hoping for a good in person appointment. Haven’t seen my OB in 5 weeks!

No one can come with me, and I check-in via phone from my car. They call back when they have an exam room ready.

i’m 34+3. my last two appointments were over the phone. fiancé wasn’t allowed to come to last growth scan. my clinic is closing until june and so i have to switch to a completely new midwife as mine is only at the hospital now until june. they also only want to see me every two weeks my last month (starting at my 36 week appointment) which i will express i am against it and prefer weekly. i had to be induced at 37 weeks last baby due to complications and i will not risk my baby’s health because of everything going on. all in all it sucks. i have a set induction for 39 weeks in case he doesn’t come by then.

Almost 34 weeks here. They’re trying to do visits remotely when possible. Otherwise I have to wear a mask, DH can’t come with.

I'm 28 weeks and all my appts are in person. Appts are spaced so only a few women are in the office at a time. And no one is allowed to come with me.

My husband can still go back with me for now (I don’t know if that will change here or not, I hope not) I’m 18 weeks

Appointments are normal for me except my husband can’t come with. They do screening before you go into the building to make sure you don’t have any symptoms.

Any regular type of appointments that have just been to discuss things have been via video chat. And ultrasounds - obviously in person (where temperature is taken at the door and asked if you have any symptoms - before being allowed in). And wearing a mask as well.

My sister is currently 17 weeks pregnant. Her first appointment was before the shutdown but her last one was over the phone. They were worried she wouldn’t be able to come in for her anatomy scan in a couple weeks but are hoping they’ll be able to do it with restrictions of course.
