Is it abuse?

I just got woken up to the sound of a screaming child, my neighbors child.

I live in a town home and the townhome next to mine houses a family with 3 or 4 children.

From the moment I woke from the screaming till the end.. a little over 15 minutes of hearing SMACK SMACK SMACK continuously yelling from the parent screaming and crying from the young child.

I called the police. I was shaking. I waddled my fat pregnant ass down my stairs and outside the door almost ready to bang on their door and stopped. I live alone, 7 year old and in a week give or take, a newborn.

The police arrive. Knock on their door.. “were you disciplining your child?”

He says yes officer I was. My son was pulling his hair out.

“Can we see him?”

Then they say thanks for cooperating and leave!

I am sick to my stomach. It is after 1 am that this took place.

I say that is ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR. That is an ADULT TANTRUM TAKEN OUT ON A CHILD.

Maybe this parents disciplinary tactics give this kid anxiety and THATS WHY HE IS PULLING HIS HAIR OUT.

I am so pissed and worried for these kids!
