Car first, you need your own transportation to get to an from most jobs.

Depends if you need a car for life.
Cars immediately loose value once you drive off the lot, homes and property gain value.
I need a car for my job but I refuse to ever make payments of a car or have to have debt because of a car. I spent $2000 on my first Honda Civic and it lasted me 4 years. I got my second car from my moms friend for $500 and it’s been 2 years.
I’m 25 and have never had any debt, I have an credit score of like 820, and I plan to keep it that way lol. We’re trying to buy a home soon, that’s the only type of thing I want to be paying off!

A car first but preferably not something you’ll have to finance for very long (same with partners automobile) because you have to get back and forth from work. If you (and partner if there’s one) can share a just one car that would be even better because more savings for the house. AFTER you buy the house you should add another car.

I’d say car because it’s the less expensive lol. Also you can rent a home while you save up for a down payment. Not sure what you’d do without a car (unless you intend to lease? But then that ends up being almost as much $)

1. Are all your credit cards to 0?
2. Are all other debts paid off
3. Are you planning to buy a house and stay there forever or you plan on finding a new region to live in soon?
