No period

So I’m new to the pill and have been on almost two months. I had my first period while on and it was on schedule. Now I’m three days late. I know hormonal bc can make periods irregular and change the flow. But can it also make you skip them so soon? I took a test because we did have a condom break during my ovulation time. It was negative thankfully. So for those of you that are on and have skipped periods.. did they skip over them completely or should I carry a bunch of tampons just in case it decides to show up. I’ve never missed one before and I don’t like it lol
