Sometimes my husband and I both go through phases where our sex drives are far from the same. While frustrating and discouraging sometimes it’s not a deal breaker because we still have intimacy even if our sexual intimacy is struggling and we normally get back on the same wave length

If the difference is enough that it becomes a topic then I think it’s a deal breaker. Someone is always going to be bothered by it. The person with the higher sex drive is going end up feeling inadequate or like their partner isn’t attracted to them and the other it’s going to feel pressured to have sex when they shouldn’t. Both will become annoyed. I mean you be can definitely talk about it and learn to be ok with that but it’ll still live in your mind.

It was definitely hard, especially the first year of our marriage. But we came to a compromise that I didn’t mind and that made him happy. After a while, my sex drive increased a little, and his decreased a little and we are both initiating and happy :)

i definitely have a higher drive than my fiancé’s. it’s taken a couple hard conversations but he’s definitely gotten better. we average normally 1-2x per week and i would prefer if it were more but we manage!

I have a very high sex drive. And my bf really doesn’t have one. In the beginning we still had sex at least once a week but we’ve been together for 5 years now and we haven’t had sex since we were together for 3.5 years..and he doesn’t mind. But I definitely do..
