My little giraffe 🥰 side note: is anyone second guessing your child's name? We were referring to him as Grant for about 5 months and then changed it to Liam 2 weeks before birth. I feel like both don't suite him. Anyone in the same boat?

Sorta! We couldn’t settle on a name at all. His dad was more picky than I was, but we both struggled for sure. We went through a list of 1,000 boy names and came out only liking/agreeing on maybe 2 or 3. We “tried on” different names aka calling him by a name for a week or two to try and see if it fit when he was still in me. We tried on his name at around 20 weeks and it just stuck. It’s not the most common of names so I sometimes feel shy to tell people his name? It’s weird to describe lol. I don’t regret his name, but I think it will take some getting use to on my end to become more confident in our choice.

I had the opposite happen! We found out through SneakPeek just before 9 weeks that we were having a girl, and that day decided on Remington Harper. I loved the name but the more I heard it, the less in love I was. But seeing her finally and calling her Remi/Remington and hearing other people say her name, I absolutely love our choice. It fits her well!

I feel the same about my daughters name, we had the name Elise picked as soon as we knew the gender, however we didn't tell anyone her name until after she was born. So it just feels unfamiliar to hear and day out loud. 
I still love the name and wouldn't change it, but even now at 7w I hardly find myself calling her by name.

I peed on the stick and his name was Carson from that day forward. However, we couldn’t agree on a middle name until a few weeks before he was born. We settled finally the morning he was born lol. We don’t regret it at all, just took us awhile to get there.
