CMy husband and I have been on a roller coaster of emotions and frustrations while TTC our first. It's been 14 months and we finally get to see the second line appear. After trying for a year we both went to get ourselves checked out. My Gyno said I was text book perfect for conceiving. My husband on the other hand was diagnosed with male factor infertility due to count and motility issues. We were sent to a fertility specialist who suggested we go straight for IUI and put me on femara (letrozole). My husband also went to a urologist who put him on clomid over a month ago. This month I was over seeing the negative tests so I decided to give my body a break from the Femara. I knew I couldn't take those pills without getting my hopes up again. We did however use preseed, opks, and laying with a pillow under my hips after bd. We bd every other day during my fertile week. On 8dpo I considered having a beer but decided to test before sipping anything. Low and behold there was a faint but visible pink line. I tested with FMU this morning and it is definitely there. It's important to not give up and listen to your body. Hoping for a happy and healthy 9 months. ❤️
