Pregnant while on birth control?

Question

Has anyone ever gotten pregnant while on a low dose birth control? 
I know it’s bad for the fetus to keep taking it- but how would you even know?
My husband and I are not using other protection, and he’s been freely letting loose in me I’ll call it (😂) and I just wouldn’t want to harm my baby if I were pregnant I’m all anxious about it now

I bought cheap tests and am randomly testing every other week. So far they have been negative.

I took low dose for a long time with no pregnancy. With him releasing Willy nilly. 
Usually it shouldn’t fail unless you haven’t been consistent taking it, or maybe took antibiotics during.

Just buy some cheap tests and test weekly or every other week.
