Im 30 weeks +4 days, woke up in the middle of the night with what I figured was water having broken (bed completely drenched, got up and lost another few gushes of water when I’d move... )

I started mild contractions while being admitted to the hospital for monitoring. They are giving me antibiotics and steroid shots, considering meds to try to stop labour if I progress (so far not the case thankfully!).

They said there’s an 80% chance I’ll deliver the babies in the next 48 hours.... has anybody had their twins this early? How were they? How long were they in the NICU?

If the twins stay in, they said I’ll have to stay in hospital until I deliver in any weeks... now with COViD I can’t have any visitors. Anyone have any advice on this? It was so hard to leave my husband in the parking lot as I came in, I can’t imagine being in this hospital bed for weeks without getting to see him.... 😭 (he would only be allowed in the hospital if they decide Im in active labour and get transferred to labour and delivery unit...)
