Baby twins cloth size?

So i was wondering, what size did your twins had to wear when they were first born? preemie or newborn? And does it depends on what week they’ll be born?

Just made it to my scheduled c-section at 36 weeks 4 days- they were 5 lb 4oz and 5 lb 1 oz. I only had one pack of preemie so had to stock up as soon as I got home!

We just had newborn sizes. They were born early and the newborns were a little roomy, but only for like a week or 2 at the max. I’m happy I didn’t buy preemie, they would have not worn them hardly at all.

Mine were born at 37+4 and wore preemie clothes for a couple of weeks, then newborn size for a couple of months.

I bought (used) a few Preemie clothes and newborn. I’m 35wks and my girls are already measuring 5.5lb and 5.8lbs. I just went ahead and packed one of each size for each baby. That way if I need them I have some, I personally like to be prepared. My first two children (singleton pregnancies) both weighed 7.5lb and 7.14lb so they wore newborn for like two weeks before moving onto 0-3 month.
