Naps and sleep routines
Good morning everyone,
My son is 8 weeks and I’m trying to start up some kind of routine for him since I go back to work next month. I’m reading online and a commonality amongst a lot of programs (babywise, takingcarababies,etc.) is the eat-play-sleep method with naps every 1-2hrs for babies his age. My question is how are you all getting your babies to sleep? Right now we have to rock him and then hold him for at least 20 minutes before placing him down and most times he wakes up immediately or after 15-20 mins. We don’t want him to become dependent on rocking to get to sleep. The whole placing down while drowsy but not asleep seems impossible. Any tips?
