Stranger anxiety already?!

My baby is about to be 4 months old in a few days and she FREAKS OUT I mean cries hysterically when anyone other than me or my husband holds her. She does this even with my parents. It seems very early for this to be happening and to this extreme. It’s pretty upsetting! Any advice on how to deal with this or how long this will last?

My baby does this too. It takes some time for her to adjust to them and then she's giggling with them. I think it is because we have them inside only 😔 and they are not able to interact with family.

My niece who is now 8 months has done this since she was 4 months old.. shes getting a little better at recognizing familiar faces, but if you hold her it's a completely different story.. she STILL screams and cries. Some babies are just that way.

My daughter loves everyone it’s kinda scary cause anyone could pick her up and she would just be happy 😒

I am going through the same exact thing!! I literally don’t know what to do. He freaks out hysterical to the point of choking and coughing. I would love to drop him off to grandparents to get a break, but nope. He freaks the F out. I’m hoping  he’ll get used to everyone soon :(
