Anyone NOT able to find heartbeat on Doppler?

I know I shouldn’t be but I’m freaking out because I can’t find the heartbeat on my Doppler 😳 I’m 11+4 and with my daughter I was able to find her heartbeat early on so easily! So of course now all I can think about is something is wrong and I know it’s crazy and I shouldn’t have even tried to find it but I had such good luck with my daughter! Anyone else having trouble finding it? I’m now anxiously awaiting my next scan scheduled for 5/5 😰

Let me just explain how difficult doppler can be. When we complete vascular surgery and have proven there is blood flow down the peripheral vessels in the legs we always follow up with a Doppler. These vessels are close to the surface and would be palpable on examination. However, many times it is not possible to get a clear reading of these vessels. Now you are trying to find the heartbeat of a small little person who is well hidden and protected. This can be determined by how you are laying, how baby is laying and many other variables. Don’t be worried if you can find it 😊 they are in there well protected 😊

Everything is probably ok 💕💕 I’ve heard it depends how the baby is positioned.  Also, I tried a long time before being able to find mine I figured out I was looking in the wrong spot!! Look really low, don’t pay attention to the numbers on the screen just listen and make sure the volume is all the way up also I find it best on a empty tummy and laying completely flat 💕💕 no worries I’m sure everything is ok

I’m 12 Weeks and 3 days and I still can’t find mine. I had an appointment at 12 Weeks and the heartbeat is very strong when my doctor showed it to me. 
She said to try looking on my own at 14 weeks!

I only ever tried with our 3rd son because that pregnancy was full of difficulties. I never got it. The doctor and nurses had issues finding it. No one told me I had an anterior placenta until I ended up in l&d triage at 23 weeks. The nurse said it to me like I was dumb. Anyways the entire pregnancy the only place you could get the heartbeat was right on the hairline and it was still faint at that. At 26 weeks I had to calm a nurse down who was freaking out because she couldn't find the heartbeat.

I'm 12w3d and my nurse was only able to find the heartbeat for a few seconds.  She told me my baby wouldn't stop moving and it can be difficult to track them down this early.
