Natural or medicated birth?

So the thought of labor terrifies me I'm so worried about the pain and any complications. So the pain being something that could be managed what did you ladies do a natural or medicated birth? What were the pros and cons for your choice? Most women in my family had an epidural and they had mixed experiences so I'm curious of others experience whether they did an epidural or natural.

I had an unmedicated birth and am planning for a second one now (32 weeks along).
I don’t have any cons. Its obviously intense, but manageable. I established a breathing routine early on, maintained super calm, moved (walked, went up and down stairs, used a birthing ball), a lot, and birthed in the tub. Warm water is absolutely amazing. Honestly, by the time the pain became its most intense, it was already time to push, and it actually brought some relief. The ring of fire is painful, but lasts a few seconds. 
Zero complication, baby nursed immediately, and recovery went well.

The best advice I was given was to not have a birth plan. It sets you up for disappointment if things don’t go as planned which they don’t a lot of the time with child birth.
I went into the hospital with the only plan being that I would see how I could manage without any pain medication and if I needed it I would get it. I ended up getting an epidural at 4cm.

I’ve had 2 unmedicated births. Only con is the pain. My labors are short so I could tell myself it was going to end soon (with #2 anyway, with #1 I was in denial of what was happening I wanted the epidural lol). Maybe another con was getting stitched up without pain medication (locals don’t really work for me which is super fun), but the after-delivery high was so intense it felt like my OB was tickling my vagina. Pros were I was out of bed as soon as the golden hour was over, I didn’t have any possible side effects from the epidural, and my bills were less.

I had an epidural with my first when I hit 8 cm. It worked for a bit then wore off and somehow wouldn't work anymore. I'm honestly going to do natural this time around. The contractions up until 8 cm were decently manageable but I didn't know any breathing or coping techniques so that's where I went wrong the first time.

I went in with an open mind and planned to get meds/epidural when I was too uncomfortable. Got to about 7-8/10 pain with contractions after I was dilated to 4.5-5 with contractions about 1-2 minutes apart. Got the epidural and felt little to no pain after that. Didn’t take on my right side as much so they just gave me a little extra dose and that fixed it. Delivered my baby within 4 hours. All went well. 🙂

I did pain meds and all the medicial crap. Regretted it. Ended up in surgery. I had a reaction to epidural. I wish I just kept going natural :(

I had an induced with epidural birth with my first (Hated every second, mostly the hospitals fault ). With my second at a different hospital I had a spontaneous labor with epidural. Better than before for sure but with the baby I’m currently pregnant with I will be going natural. And I’m excited about it. 
I read something the other day - be prepared, not scared. 
Study up on labor, know what your body is capable of - we have amazing bodies. 
Then make an educated and informed decision.
