Had my first sonogram, scheduled for another in 2 weeks?

hi mamas. i had my first ultrasound yesterday. i found out i was pregnant on the 27th, had my appointment on the 1st. At the ultrasound they said i am 10 weeks 5 days. I saw the doctor and the appointment felt very rushed. i got all my labs done. they scheduled me for another ultrasound in 2 week. the ultrasound technician said everything looked fine but i’m wondering why another ultrasound if it’s fine? it’s been a long time since my last pregnancy so i’m not sure if this is a normal appointment or if i should be worried,. TIA!
