Preparing for Baby early??

Okay so I’m pregnant with my first, only 14w 3D, and I’m wondering when I should start getting essentials like diapers, wipes and things like that. When did all the other mommies out there start preparing?

I'm a FTM and wont be buying those things until after I pass the viability point at 24 weeks, but likely still after 30 weeks just because I've got other things that are more fun to shop for. It depends on your comfort level amd what feels right to you though!

Whenever you want. Yes there’s a risk of losing it but I’m 20 weeks and started preparing when I could because you can carry to full term and still deliver a stillborn. Try not to focus on the ifs of it and do what you feel is right to prepare for your baby

I started buying diapers and wipes at about the same time. Id buy a pack with every grocery shopping trip I took or with every paycheck.

I think buying diapers and wipes early is ok , do the clothes shopping and all that later lol . I did a lot of shopping as soon as I found out the gender and ended up bored and overbuying 😂

A lot of people think its stupid to buy early but even if you just buy the essentials like diapers and wipes every pack check, if its from target or Walmart, you can always exchange the sizes later if you find out you need different sizing etc. I don’t think it’s a bad idea, or to put money away each month but that’s less fun 🤣🍼

I bought things a little at a time this time around. I had diapers by 28 weeks just because I happened to see them on sale :)
