Weaning

My baby is almost 8 months old and I’m ready to wean from daytime breastfeeding. We’ve been doing about 1/2 formula and 1/2 breastmilk, usually I give him expressed breast milk and just nurse at night before bed and for his 3am wake up.

I’m just ready to have my body back to myself during the day. I’m ready to be done pumping.

My question is, if I wean from daytime nursing/pumping, how long do you think I’ll be able to nurse just once at night before he goes to bed? I know everyone is different, but do you think my milk will dry up all the way quickly? Or will I be able to offer him that comfort for a while?
