Huckleberry? Guilty pleasure name!

I've been crushing on the name Huckleberry for a while now (nickname Huck). I don't think I could ever use it though, just a guilty pleasure name. What do y'all think? 😁

I can understand “guilty pleasure names.” I really like some names from Game of Thrones, but I don’t want a child to be constantly compared to a fictional character.  Glad you realize that it’s not wise to actually use it.

I think this really depends on where you live. I know someone in Oregon who named their son Huckleberry and it's super cute for him! I don't see anyone making fun of 'Huck' for a name in a place known for the outdoors. Just makes me think of Huckleberry Finn! However I suggested the name to my husband and he hated it haha.

I know a little boy whose name is just plain Huck and it fits him so well and I think it’s super cute!

You can get Huck with another name. My in-laws names their son Hendrick and they call him Huck.
