I’m 18 and I found out about a week ago (maybe more) that my fiancé and I are expecting a baby. I told my mother and she was excited and very supportive. However, my dad will probably not be the same.

My dad is super religious and doesn’t believe in sex before marriage. So I feel like he won’t be as understanding as my mother. I don’t know an easy way to tell my dad because I would really prefer for my fiancé and I to tell him. I know he’d at least respect us more if we told him.

My mom wants me to tell him before my first doctor’s appointment. I don’t know how to tell him. So if anyone has any ideas... then I am open. Because I just want to make it easier... lol.

On the bright side, my fiancé is super excited and he can’t wait to have a baby. Our wedding is this August and our baby would be due on January.
