Picking donor look

I’m mixed, Moroccan and European. I look very Northern European. I want a donor like me, who’s mixed Arab/Moroccan and European. The only donor I found doesn’t look like me. He’s dark haired and tan, beautiful but much more Moroccan looking then me, he won’t look like the majority of my family and I’m just conflicted between a donor who looks like me or is like me in genes.

So I’m just wondering how did you guys pick your donors? By how they look or by their background?
