Hubby on Shit list for Mother’s Day?

Anyone else’s hubby on the biggest shit list for Mother’s Day??? 
My wonderful hubby (🙄), decided he had to go out with his friends last night after dinner, I kept asking him to come home. Guess what? Still not home. It’s 8:30am, haven’t heard from him since 4am. He’s an effing asshole. 
So I’m making my own Mother’s Day breakfast, coffee, might as well do laundry and vacuum today too because at this point, it’s just a regular Sunday.

Leave him. He’s cheating. My friends boyfriend did the same thing and she believed he was actually alone drinking at the park until the entire next day. Smh.

I had to get up at 6am to take care of the baby and my husband ended up sleeping in until like almost 10 today. Then my Mom asked me if he got me anything and I said no. This was my 1st mothers day so I was hoping he'd try to make it special. I ended up saying "you're welcome for birthing your child, breastfeeding him for 7.5 months straight and being the only one who got up with him for almost a year now." He just waited for an hour and a half at olive garden though so hes off the shit list.

While I’ll agree that your husband is a big asshole, I’m still doing the laundry today. I’m still doing everything I would normally do (currently organizing my week’s worth of assignments for my students). And I don’t expect anyone to make me breakfast.

Mine is training for a marathon and apparently couldn’t take a break from that this morning or cut it short.  He’s been out running for hours now.  He also only runs in a certain park which happens to be 45 minutes away.  I get to real with the baby and my two pmsing teenagers alone while pmsing myself 😂 all I wanted was a few hours of peace this morning so I could take a nice long bath without hearing baby cry or the big kids fight.  
I got a text from him but I’m more annoyed with my teen daughters who haven’t even acknowledged Mother’s Day even though I know they know what day it is because one of their games is having a special event for it.  I don’t expect gifts but honestly, they’re home all day right now, a handmade card takes a few minutes.

Uhh you all absolutely deserve better then men who don’t understand what you’ve done birthing and caring for their children. I don’t like any of these posts and I’d be putting my foot down somewhere. Allllsooo not coming home til 8:30 is not an option here lol

Eh mine wasn't *terrible* it could be worse. Our 3 year old decided it was a good day to have an accident all over the whole kitchen floor (they were totally potty trained 100% for months and months and they're going through a huge regression right now) and then had a huge meltdown, all while I was trying to make breakfast. My own breakfast. I asked my partner if he was going to make me anything (in the kindest, most unassuming way I could) and he basically just said no so I made breakfast. However I started bawling, being pregnant and my kid throwing the biggest tantrum ever. Luckily my partner really seemed to understand how upset I was and gave me a really sweet hug and tried to make me laugh. 
My partner spent all day long cooking a big dinner for his own mother. Who I hate. Meanwhile my kid is needing lots of time outs and then has another big tantrum later on in the day. 
My partner comes home from giving his mother his homecooked meal, super late, literally 15 minutes before my kid's bedtime with dinner we had been waiting on. Which was just KFC. His mother got me a bouquet of flowers, a small cookie cake, and for the kid she got a pez dispenser with candy and a beach ball. Which is great, kid was happy, cake was nice. Still don't like her even if she does get me gifts though. 
My partner did not get me any gifts. I think he thinks the KFC and the things his mom got me count as gifts from him. I guess it's the thought that counts.
But you know. Could be worse. It could definitely be worse. It was depressing but at least he isn't abusing me or totally blowing me off or anything.

A little but he did good with mothers days gifts but u had to push him to not put it off and do it tomorrow instead. But side note if he didnt come home from going out, I'd most likely be considered divorce very seriously. That's prob cheating

He was... then he came to me a little bit ago & apologized. He’s got a big deadline at work tomorrow & it’s preoccupied his mind, but he would like a do over for the day on Wednesday. 
Damn... I wanted to be real pissed at him, but I guess it’ll work 😌
