Is it Mother’s Day?

My feelings are hurt bc I’m 32 weeks pregnant and my husband hasn’t told me happy Mother’s Day. Should my feelings be hurt even though my daughter actually isn’t here yet?
Edit: he knows I want to celebrate Mother’s Day. I’ve been talking about it all week.

If you wanted to celebrate mother's day you should have told him. Most people I know don't see pregnant people as mother's yet so wouldn't automatically think to celebrate mother's day. It's okay to be upset about it if you feel differently but maybe your husband is like the people I know.

If he doesn’t know you want to celebrate, you have to tell him, he can’t read your mind. 
It’s not the same for guys because they don’t create that connection right away. Most of them don’t feel like fathers until the baby is here, so they assume we feel the same way. Tell him.

My dad sent me a happy almost-mother's day & my husband straight up told me that it was going to be for next year.. Honestly I wasn't hurt.. I also wasn't expecting anything. 
I read you communicated with him all week, but what was his response..? (communication works 2 ways) 
Did he give you the impression he was going to do something that you're now dissapointed?

I think you have every right to be a little hurt. My husband went to play golf this morning with a couple guys. I’m mad he isn’t social distancing really well and I feel hurt too that he left me on this day. Even his mom sent me a Mother’s Day card and he hasn’t so much as said happy Mother’s Day, you are going to be a great mother.    Feels like he ruined the entire day for me that should have been special.

I would tell him you want to celebrate mothers day. I personally didnt celebrate mothers day when I was pregnant with my first. He was born July 29th. It was my choice. We also didnt celebrate fathers day in June before the first was born. We just made the day about our parents. That was our personal choice. Some people do when pregnant, some people dont. If you do want to then just tell him💜
