Would you get a prenup?

I see a lot of mixed answers. Would you get a prenup? Why? If not, why?

I personally initiated the conversation to get a prenup with my fiancé. I trust him whole heartedly, we share finances, we own a home and vehicles. We both are secure in our careers.

I think prenups protect from future vendetta and toxic behavior that COULD happen. I know women and men who will take everything if something goes wrong. And while you’re so in love and swear it’ll never happen, or swear it’s never be “you”, honestly I think you don’t know how you react until the time comes.

I LOVE my fiancé, we plan on children and have a beautiful life we are creating. I don’t believe we’ll ever separate, but if it ever had to happen. We both will be protected; and so would our children.
