Anyone else still doing contact naps?

He sleeps in his crib at night, but we hold him for naps. Anyone else? I know I should have him sleeping in his crib, but felt like I'd never look back and think, "gee I wish I'd spent that extra time during the pandemic getting him to nap in his crib..."

We don’t hold him for his naps but he mostly naps in our bed with one of us sitting beside him. And sometimes mommy naps with him haha

We’ve been doing it more now. 8 month sleep regression has been a killer and I just need her to sleep 🤷🏻‍♀️. I’m sure we won’t regret it and we’ll remember these times with a smile on our face

I hold her on her late afternoon nap after daycare as she will fight it in crib but I need to her to take 30 minute snooze so wont be crabby all night

She refuses to nap anywhere else. She sleeps 10-11 hrs at night in her bed just fine, but naps are a whole nother story.

Yeah, I sure do. He still tries to wake up after 30ish minutes otherwise. Sometimes I can put him down after we pass that 30 minute mark.

Oh we only do naps by holding or laying with. I feel like I’d regret not doing it later in life

I hold her for her last nap, so she gets at least an hour, because she will not sleep longer than 30 min in her crib.

I get that train of thought completely, but during my 5 weeks being laid off we held him for naps, and even though I'm back to work now (from home, as I always was) I don't regret not taking advantage of the time I could have spent training him. I would have regretted missing out on the sleeping snuggles, as those will come to an end before I know it, and my lay off gave me so many more of those opportunities. Just my opinion.
