Would you make your teen daughter do her older brothers underwear laundry?

My mother has been making me do my brothers underwear laundry (along with his other laundry) since I was very young, now I’m 19. My brothers are 29 (yes still living home. He has the means to leave he just chooses not too) and 20. I’ve always thought it was freaking weird, especially since they don’t clean my panties nor do I expect them too 😐 I have to clean mine by hand (more of a cultural thing since we’re Caribbean but I don’t get the luxury of throwing them in a washing machine).

Soo. I don’t see a problem with a teen girl
Cleaning either sexes under wear. I do see a problem with someone being made to clean another persons clothes when they are completely capable of cleaning it themselves. If it’s a family chore, if should be rotated, so everyone does it. My kids will for sure be in charge of laundry occasionally as they get older but not everyone’s clothes all the time.

Regardless of situation, as soon as I read “older” I was like hell no. No matter the ages unless he was handicapped I don’t see why an older sibling can’t do their own laundry if the younger one can. Simple as that🤷🏾‍♀️

Is this more of a cultural thing that males do not do laundry in your household? At that age they should 100% be able to do their own laundry. If it’s more of a shared chore and it is “family” laundry then a little more understandable but still frustrating.

This is so odd to me that your mom makes you wash them... why is that your responsibility?? She is setting up your brothers for a rude awakening IF they ever decide to even move out.. and find a wife. I know I wouldn't sit there to hand wash my husbands underwear let alone my brothers, that's so gross lol. I'm assuming you can't just tell her you refuse to do it, since she sounds strict? I'm sorry girl.. that's so unfair to you.
