I graduated from the University of South Alabama! 👩🏽‍🎓🎉

When my husband and I planned to have our sweet girl there were doubts about graduating on time for my scholarship. We weren’t sure if it would be possible through pregnancy, working as an intern and traveling long distance for school.

There were times where I sat in my car during my breaks crying and contemplating whether continuing my education was worth it.

Late nights and early mornings were tough. I would wait until baby went to sleep to study and write essays. There were days where I only got 3-4 hours of sleep. It was hard to stay awake during class, I was overwhelmed and exhausted.

I leaned on my husband and even professors for support. Just when I thought that everyone around me judged me for being a young mom, everyone was supportive and the only thing holding me back are my negative thoughts.

If you have a goal that you want to achieve, do it. Even if it takes you longer than expected, and don’t be afraid to seek help when you need it. Most importantly focus and keep praying. With faith and God everything is possible.
