Baby#2 3-6-2020

First I wanna meet some babies that were born that day just for fun.

Ok so I had been having contractions since the end of February since this year February had 29 days I was so scared my kid would be born on that day but thankfully that did not happen. My due date was supposed to be 3-14-2020.

I was getting super anxious because of all this covid-19 virus so I started nesting big time. And what I mean with that is that I started buying food and water way before people started going crazy buying. So I was ok when all that crazy shopping happen when I was 3 days pp.

So Feb27 I went in for a check up and I was already 3cm dilated I never really get strong contractions it’s just the way my body is I can feel them but not enough to think I am going into labor. So on the 6 of March I had a doctors appointment at 2 in the afternoon my husband woke up and went to work like any regular Friday. But i couldn’t fall back asleep I kept feeling the need to go poop haha tmi sorry 😐. But nothing was happening that was around 6 am then I paid all the bills for that month and still felt the same but no luck on using the restroom I thought I was constipated so around 8 I started to feel what I thought were contractions because they were 10 min apart and would stop for a whole hour and start again. So I decided to call my mother and ask for advice. Sure enough she encouraged me to call my doctor even though I wasn’t in any pain, I called and she agreed to see me at 10 am.

I called my husband to come home because around 9 I was sure I was having contractions and had my 5 year old with me the only reason why I thought they were contractions was because they felt like period cramps now. But no excruciating pain yet.

So we went I got check and I was 7 cm dilated. I went home for my hospital bag then to the hospital called everyone and then was just waiting on my mom to get to the hospital from out of town I got admitted at 11am had my water broken at 2pm my mom got to the hospital 3:30 and by that time I was feeling all my contractions on my back. Still bearable but definitely getting worse. Then I felt what i thought was the biggest contraction and I told my nurse i was ready they checked I was ready. I pushed 3 times and he was out at 4:46pm weighing 7lbs 1oz 22 inches long.
